Welcome to CTHS



Apply Now to Dr. Kirk Lewis Career & Technical High School
The Career and Technical High School (CTHS) is an application-based school of choice serving students in grades 9-12 in a full day school setting.

Students will receive core course instruction (Mathematics, English/Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies), elective course instruction (World Languages, PE, Art), and highly specialized Career and Technical courses leading to industry recognized certification in most career pathways. CTHS students may also elect to participate in Connect, AVID, PAP/AP and Dual Credit Classes.

The application is available online from October 1 – January 11 at apply.cthsweb.com.

Starting out as a Pasadena ISD custodian, Elsa Cantu has broken through language barriers and overcome obstacles to become an AP Spanish/Bilingual teacher at CTHS! She passes inspiration onto her students as they break through their own barriers, reminding them they can accomplish their goals with the right amount of focus and determination.
